CUTTING-EDGE WORKWEAR MEETS 60,000 YEARS OF CULTURE
Cole Workwear is a proudly Noongar owned and operated Supply Nation-certified supplier of high-quality workwear. We’re the first and only Indigenous safety wholesaler in Australia working with distributors and clients across the country to bring quality back to your workwear.
Founded in late 2013, Perth businessman and Noongar community leader, Gordon Cole, joined forces with Michael Cima, experienced importer andfounder of Australia’s first Indigenous workwear company, with a shared focus on supporting local communities.
Together, they bring decades of invaluable knowledge and industry experience, enabling Cole Workwear to supply an innovative range of Supply Nation-certified products that meet the market’s demand for value without compromising performance and the fast turnarounds the industry expects.
Our rich heritage is engrained in everything we do; from our commitment to customer experience to enriching our communities through our work. We’re proud supporters of many local community groups and work tirelessly to support Aboriginals in a variety of cultural activities.
As a Supply Nation-certified business, we’re a part of Australia’s leading directory of verified Indigenous companies, dedicated to supporting supplier diversity to create a more inclusive economy.
About Our Brand
As industry leaders, we’re the first workwear supply company to develop our labelled safety brand;one that is already gaining global recognition. Boomerang®is synonymous with high-quality fabrics and fashionable cuts that bring supreme comfort and safety together for the ultimate in workwear.
We aspire to deliver diversity and ingenuity as represented by the use of the four ‘kylees’or boomerangs in our logo and their connection to our ancestors and original owners of our land.
The distinctive and unique branding owes its origins to Gordon’s four children and represents his significant link to the Noongar people and the land. The swirls within each Boomerang also illustrate our nation’s waterways, which holds a special significancefor all First Nation people.
The ‘kylees’ or boomerangs within the brand also represent diversity and ingenuity, something the Boomerang brand always delivers.
